This project involved the redevelopment and modernization of the Wall Street Oasis mobile application. In addition to implementing new features, I migrated the legacy codebase to modern React Native standards, upgraded the framework to the latest stable version, introduced TypeScript for improved type safety and maintainability, and integrated a redesigned interface to deliver a faster, more reliable, and user-friendly experience.
The updated design, provided by the UI/UX team, focused on creating a clean, modern interface that makes it easy for users to navigate forums, courses, and career resources. I integrated the redesigned layouts into the app, ensuring smooth transitions, consistent styling, and an intuitive user experience.
On the development side, I migrated the legacy codebase to align with modern React Native standards, upgraded the framework to the latest version, and introduced TypeScript for improved type safety and maintainability. I also optimized performance, resolved long-standing technical debt, and implemented responsive layouts and scalable components to ensure the app runs seamlessly across both iOS and Android devices.
